About the Role

Should have worked on Financial Services Audit or Clients in Financial Services.

Responsibilities

Evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls and recommend improvements.
Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations (e.g., SOX, Basel III, IFRS), and internal policies.
Analyze financial data and records to identify errors, fraud, or inefficiencies.
Prepare detailed audit reports summarizing findings and recommending corrective actions.
Follow up on audit recommendations to ensure timely implementation.
Collaborate with external auditors, regulators, and other stakeholders as needed.
Maintain current knowledge of industry trends, regulatory changes, and internal auditing standards.
Participate in the development of the annual audit plan and risk assessment.
