Joining the Mumbai office is an incredible opportunity to work closely with global stakeholders to support the technology and infrastructure that drives the investment and trading processes of a globally recognized asset management firm. Be part of the team based out of Goregaon (East) and contribute to the foundation and culture of the firm’s growing operations in India. The Mumbai office operates with varying shifts to accommodate time zones around the world.

Graduate Trainee/Apprenticeship – Internal Audit

Apprenticeship is a 12-month program that will provide a comprehensive learning experience, blending theoretical knowledge with on-the-job training. Over the 12-month period, apprentices at Russell Investments will gain valuable exposure to industry while developing essential soft skills and acclimating to a professional corporate environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with all phases of audits and consulting engagements in line with departmental and professional standards

• Conduct analytical reviews of audit documentation

• Help coordinate walkthroughs and control testing exercises

• Monitor progress on audit findings and perform follow-up procedures

• Support enhancements to audit methodology, policies, and departmental procedures

Eligibility

• Should not be self-employed

• Should not be enrolled under other government-funded programs

• Should not be practicing professionally at the time of application

• Should not be registered on EPF/ ESIC Portal

Apprentices who enroll should have their Aadhaar seeded with their personal mobile number and personal email address. This is a mandate

Candidate Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related discipline (e.g., BCom, BAF, BBI)

• Strong interest in building a career in Internal Audit

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills

• Effective time management with an ability to meet deadlines without compromising quality

• Proactive, detail-oriented, and organized with a strategic mindset

• Flexibility to work with global teams and across time zones

• Excellent verbal and written communication; ability to collaborate across all levels of the organization
