Recruitment of Officer Grade A (Assistant Manager) 2025 - General Stream - 77 posts - Approx Salary - Rs 22 lakhs p.a.

Last Date - 28th Nov 2025

Eligbility - FRESHER/ No Exp Needed - Chartered Accountant/ Chartered Financial Analyst/ Company Secretary/ Cost Accountant, Master’s Degree/ Post Graduate Diploma* (minimum two years’ duration) in any discipline/ Bachelor’s Degree in Law/ Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering from a recognized University/ Institute

Mode of Selection: Selection will be carried out in three phases.

Phase I will be an on-line examination consisting of two papers. Candidates shortlisted in Phase I will appear for Phase II, which will also be in the form of on-line examination(s) consisting of two papers.
Candidates shortlisted in Phase II will be called for an Interview.

Key Skills

Accommodation & Posting: Residential accommodation would be provided subject to availability. The incumbent may be posted and transferred to any location in India where SEBI has its Offices. The recruited officers may be posted to any department of SEBI, irrespective of stream.

Salary And Benefits

Probation: The selected candidates shall be recruited as Officers Grade ‘A’ and will undergo a probation of two years.

b) Pay & Benefits: The pay scale of officers in Grade A is ₹62500 - 3600 (4) - 76900 - 4050 (7) - 105250 - EB - 4050 (4) - 121450 - 4650 (1) - 126100 [17 years] Presently, the gross emolument including SEBI’s Contribution towards National Pension Scheme (NPS), Grade Allowance, Special Allowance, Dearness Allowance, Family Allowance, Local Allowance, Learning Allowance, Special Grade Allowance, etc. at Mumbai at the minimum of this scale is approx. ₹1,84,000/- p.m. without accommodation and ₹1,43,000/- p.m. with accommodation. Other benefits viz., Leave Fare Concession, Medical Expenses, Eye Refraction, Education Allowance, Knowledge Updation Allowance, Briefcase, Conveyance Expenses, House Cleaning Allowance, Staff Furnishing Scheme, Scheme for Purchasing Computers, Subsidized Lunch Facility and all other benefits as admissible to an Officer in Grade A in SEBI.
