Job Title: Chartered Accountant Investor Relation

Designation: Assistant Manager / Deputy Manager

Department: Investor Relation Department

Location: Mumbai

Reports To: Investor Relation Head

Employment Type: Full-time

Key Responsibilities

  • Review and interpret company financial reports (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow) to brief the promoters.
  • Support evaluation of financial decisions, investments, and new business proposals.
  • Coordinate with internal finance teams and statutory auditors on select matters on behalf of the promoters.
  • Provide insights on liquidity, profitability, and key business performance metrics as required.
  • Assist promoters in understanding compliance requirements, audit observations, and financial implications of strategic initiatives.
  • Analyse listed and unlisted company annual reports.
  • Demonstrate strong knowledge of financial ratios and their application.
  • Manage and monitor all personal and family investments, including equities, mutual funds, fixed deposits, bonds, insurance, and real estate.
  • Conduct periodic portfolio reviews and prepare consolidated wealth statements and performance reports.
  • Handle accounting, record-keeping, and reconciliation of personal financial transactions.
  • Manage tax planning, computation, filing, and compliance with applicable regulations (Income Tax, FEMA, etc.).
  • Liaise with banks, investment advisors, and financial institutions.
  • Support estate planning, including wills, trusts, and property documentation.
  • Serve as the single point of contact for the promoters on both personal and select company-related financial matters.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality and discretion in all dealings.
  • Coordinate with legal, tax, and investment professionals for advisory requirements.

Key Skills

Qualification: Chartered Accountant (CA) – mandatory.

Experience: Fresh or 1-2 years post-qualification, preferably with exposure to family office / personal wealth management and corporate finance.

Skills & Attributes:

  • Strong grasp of investment management, taxation, and accounting principles.
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Knowledge of extracting data from SEBI and stock exchange websites.
  • Sound understanding of corporate financial statements and MIS reports.
  • Excellent analytical, reporting, and presentation skills.
  • High level of integrity, confidentiality, and trustworthiness.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel (advanced functions, pivots, etc.), Tally, and other financial reporting tools.
  • Strong interpersonal and coordination skills.
