Job Description

• Performs approved audit steps to adequately identify and assess risks and effectiveness of internal controls
• Perform various accounting, financial, operational, regulatory, or SOX audits to protect corporate assets and ensure proper internal controls are developed and maintained in the Company
• Complete referenced audit work papers  that confirm audit procedures performed
• Assists with special projects, contracted services and other agreed upon procedures requested of the Internal Audit department
• Develops and maintains productive client, staff, and management relationships through individual contacts and group meetings

Your Experience and qualifications

Required 

• College degree   (may be suitable for CA / Semi qualified with relevant exp)
• 1-2 years experience in public accounting or internal audit
• Seeking CIA or CPA
• Knowledge of and skill in applying internal auditing principles and practices
• Knowledge of the International Professional Practices Framework (IPPF) promulgated by the Institute of Internal Auditors.
• Must be legally authorized to work in India for any employer without sponsorship
• Must be fluent in English and Hindi (written and spoken)
• Successful completion of interview required to meet job qualification
• Reliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the position

Preferred

• Advanced degree
• Direct experience in the transportation field
