Senior Financial Accountant - GL

JOB PURPOSE:

• To provide financial accounting support to Country Finance & Service Centre
• To record, maintain, verify and execute transactions with high level of complexity according to process documentation
• To ensure process documentation is maintained as per current accounting standards & control framework

YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Facilitate Financial Books close for the said accounting period, compliant with accounting standards & control framework
• Perform the role of Approver of Balance Sheet Reconciliation
• Ensure financial reports are prepared & submitted as per the timelines with accuracy
• Ensure assigned Control framework activities are completed as per timelines & accurately. and provide remediation in case of errors
• Drive accuracy improvements in Balance Sheet reconciliations
• Suggest process improvements to SME/Lead & Contribute towards process improvement by implementing the improvement ideas
• Identify any automation opportunities in the process and facilitate implementation
• Actively participate in calls with customer
• Actively participate in org level activities
• Excellent knowledge of MS Office, SAP and T-Codes

Your Experience and qualifications

• Graduate with specialization in finance  , CA. CMA, Semi
• 4-5 years in accounting process
• Experience in performing Quality checks and Audit support
• Ability to use the relevant IT systems (e.g., SAP)
• Excellent knowledge of Month close activities & Balance sheet reconciliations
• Computer literacy, ability to use the office suite
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Knowledge of Accounting (Journal entries, Reconciliations, etc.)
• Knowledge of Excel and ERP(SAP)
• Analytical Mindset
