This is an exciting opportunity for an audit professional to join a global team responsible for providing independent assurance across Macquarie. As an experienced Internal Auditor, you will be responsible for assessing the design and operating effectiveness of controls used to provide independent recommendations to the board and senior management. You’ll be involved in planning and establishing audit objectives, the delivery and reporting of audits as well as ensuring the adequate remediation of any open internal audit issues.
The role will provide exposure to Macquarie’s capital and asset management businesses, as well as the operational risk, compliance and financial crime frameworks. Whilst the role is based in Gurugram, you would be joining an internal audit team that is represented in New York, London, Singapore, Sydney and Hong Kong. International travel may be required (when it is safe to do so).

Your Experience and qualifications
To be successful and thrive in this role in this role, you’ll have excellent communication skills and the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels. You’ll have a CA, CPA or MBA qualification as well as 6-8 years of post-qualification experience in audit or risk management, preferably in a financial services institution. You’ll have proven technical and analytical skills, backed by attention to detail and sound judgement, and an ability to identify operational risk issues with material significance. You’ll be a team player who is motivated and have a passion for developing others and enabling a team to reach their full potential.
