Job Responsibilities

• To lead GL function and manage the team of 6+ resources
• Have a deep understanding of Udaan’s businesses
• Monthly closure of books of accounts for all legal entity
• GL review and month-on-month variance analysis
• Explaining month end closure numbers to all the relevant stakeholders (along with the other finance function)
• Preparation and review of monthly consolidated cashflow and balance sheet
• Reconciling inter-company balance transaction
• Preparation of financial statement and get it reviewed from the relevant stakeholders
• Front-ending the audit closure
• Handling accounting related matters under Ind AS and IFRS

Your Experience and qualifications

Candidate Profile

• CA qualified
• Good academic record (1st/2nd time passes for ICAI or equivalent)
• Post-qualification experience of 10+ years
• Strong IGAAP and/or IFRS and/or US GAAP financial reporting experience in complex/large companies, most likely in Big 4 audit/advisory/transaction vertical or MNC finance/M&A environment
• Ability to explain complex accounting and financial reporting issues simply
• Strong project management skills
• Excellent communication skills
