SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for directing and supervising centralized audit services team (CAST) staff. Responsibilities may include developing and delivering training, developing and documenting standard processes, supervising and reviewing the work of CAST staff, ensuring that CAST staff are following established processes and initiatives in a consistent manner, facilitating communications between CAST staff and field audit teams, facilitating workflow with and expectations of field audit teams, and monitoring and ensuring high quality, on time completion of tasks. An individual in this role is expected to own the internal business development associated with developing business plans, targeting and scheduling work fit for CAST into CAST through building, nurturing and maintaining relationships with key individuals throughout the Firm at Manager through Partner level. This individual will also participate in development of the long-term strategic direction of CAST. Responsibilities may also include planning and managing engagements, facilitating communications between CAST staff and external clients, preparing work papers and schedules for audit engagements, and performing financial analyses.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Understand and review work in compliance with the firm's policies and procedures;

Experience on US GAAP / US GAAS audit engagement from planning to completion;

Identify opportunities, including active participation in development and implementation of processes to more efficiently and consistently perform tasks in a centralized environment;

Identify opportunities and actively participate in design and implementation of optimization in performance of audit tasks;

Facilitate consistent and timely communication with team members regarding tasks;

Collaborate with team members on management of engagement tasks;

Effectively work with remote team members, including members of cross-functional teams;

Identify, document and communicate errors, trends and unusual transactions or accounting relationships;

Manage multiple engagements and supervise multiple staff to ensure on time, high quality completion of audits;

Prepare work papers to document results of procedures performed;

Collaborate with centers of excellence, including Data Analytics, Accounting Advisory, RPA Center of Excellence, Methodology and others to create efficient processes and new solutions;

Perform other duties as assigned.
Roles & Responsibilities
A portion of each workday should overlap with the US team work schedule to ensure adequate opportunity to communicate with US resources.
Your Skills and experience
Your Experience and qualifications

Minimum Bachelors of Commerce Degree is required.

CA / CPA is required.

A minimum of six (6) years public accounting.

US GAAP audit experience required.

Ability to multi-task, manage multiple responsibilities and deadlines, and supervise multiple staff.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
-
Willing to teach and provide feedback.

Process oriented.

Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (emphasis on Excel).Willing to learn and accept feedback.

Must be detail oriented with strong organizational and analytical skills.

Ability to work well with others in a team environment.

Ability to maintain objectivity, skepticism and integrity.

Ability to work with remote team members, including US resources.
