World Bank is inviting applicatons from eligible candidates to work as Research Interns within the Governance team. This is under Industrial Training program of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India.

Duration of Industrial Training - 9 - 12 months in accordance with ICAI regulations

Location: New Delhi

Stipend: Competitive

Eligibility: Candidates should have:

• passed both groups of IPCC / PE II exam. Preference will be given to students having obtained merit in exam
• Remaining articleship period of min 9 months and max 12 months as on Sep 15, 2021
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills along with computer proficiency and data analysis and effective written and spoken communication skills

Roles & Responsibilities

Undertaking research, analysis and evaluation of data, as well as the formulation of conclusions and write reports / briefs. Further, supporting the World Bank team on financial management aspects of India's portfolio including monitoring, supoervision and reporting issues. 

At the World Bank, we work closely with governments to develop policies that can improve lives of poor people, access social and infrastructure services and good jobs. This industrial training is intended to provide the CA aspirants with a global opportunity to understand the concepts of public financial management and its role in larger development debate.
