Job Description

• Collect and analyse financial data using online and offline data sources such as annual reports, analyst reports and public databases (Factset, Bloomberg and Thomsonone)
• Conversations with various stakeholders to gather facts (experts, suppliers, customers etc.) relevant for industry analyses/deal diligence
• Support the investment team in basic financial modelling (i.e. preparation of projected P&L, balance sheet and cash flows) for potential investee companies
• Support the investment team in developing investment thesis for key sectors by deep-diving into underlying industry dynamics and operating metrics
• Support the investment team in making presentations to the investment committee

CA Industrial Trainee

• Strong analytical skills
• Good written and oral communication skills (should be able to articulate outcome of analyses, calls etc.)
• Good accounting and financial management background
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel and Power point)
• Basic knowledge of macroeconomic aggregates and regression analysis
• Ability to ensure timely completion of tasks
