Roles & Responsibilities 

• Assist the Audit team to perform audits including audit program, audit field work, documenting audit work and managing the audit within defined timeframes.
• Understand the processes involved in mutual fund industry and assist in creating process documentation.
• Contribute to identify risks associated with mutual fund industry and related controls. Also, test identified controls and create audit plan for the process to be audited.
• Help audit team to formulate the yearly audit plan.
• Work on special assignments such as RFP
• Support the Audit team in audit coordination and review of reports

Your Skills and experience

Your Experience and qualifications

Education and Training

• Pursuing a Chartered Accountancy
• One year of auditing experience minimum as Trainee
• Basic understanding of mutual fund industry
• Background of internal audit experience in banking, financial services or insurance or equivalent external audit will be preferred
• Experience in IT Audit shall be desirable

Skills & Competencies 

• Basic understanding of mutual fund industry with some audit background
• Ability to communicate effectively with good verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work under pressure without compromising on the quality of work
• Microsoft Office proficiency with a strong emphasis on Excel.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team and self-motivated
