Senior Associate - Fund Accounting

Key areas: Fund Accounting, Private Equity funds, Hedge Fund,s Net Asset Value, IFRS/ US GAAP, PnL Accounting, Investor Allocation

Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver hedge fund accounting services to clients

• Ensuring preparation & delivery of daily, weekly and month end PNL & NAV in accurately and timely manner
• Delivering the highest service levels to clients and ensuring compliance with internal policies and procedures
• Reconcile various accounts and/or reviewing reconciliations prepared by offshore partners, promptly researching and correcting any variances
• Identify areas for increased efficiency, quality and productivity
• Identify exceptions and issues affecting valuation process, communicating same to management, and assisting in their resolution
• Ensure timely response to client requests in standard and non-standard situation
• Good understanding of complex investment products, performance fee calculations, fund structures, side pockets and distributions etc
• Able to escalate in the event of any operational control deficiency and provide suggestion to mitigate such risks

Your Skills and experience

Your Experience and qualifications

CA Freshers

• Relevant exposure in Fund Accounting
• Exposure working on Advent Geneva platform is added advantage
• Sound Analytical skills
• Takes ownership and an ability to communicate with internal and external counter parties
• Proven ability to develop and maintain a tight control environment
• Ability to work under pressure and delivery within agreed deadlines
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
