Job Description
Plant Accounting:
Financial Reporting – Month End Close Process
- Perform seamless and error free monthly closing through rigorous analysis of all stock adjustments, costs both VMOH and FMOH
- Ensure preparation of cause of change variance analysis on a timely manner by maintaining close interaction with HO team
- Ensure effective weekly closing of books in the plant and circulation of weekly MOR to enable timely decision making
Monthly Reviews and analysis
- Enable high quality monthly operating reviews of plant performance both with HQ stakeholders and with PLTs in the plant through accuracy in data reporting and providing meaningful insights
- Support PCM & Plant manager in monthly SCOR (Supply chain operations review) with senior leadership team by providing detailed analysis on plant financial performance
- Ensure monthly Capex tracking and review of capex spends vs plan
- Monthly review of stock aging (RM/PM/FG) and highlight issues (Facilitate timely provisioning, write offs)
AOP and forecast
- Support PCM in developing the AOP construct for the plant by engaging into discussions with other PLTs and preparing detailed workings to support the financial numbers
- Support PCM in submission of periodical financial forecast for the plant after incorporating relevant inputs from PLTs
Others
- Facilitate the timely closure of Statutory Audit by working closely with the Auditors and the HO team
- Prepare detailed workings required for availing different incentives from the Govt by collaborating with relevant stakeholders particularly legal
Capex Accounting (Only plant operating capexes):
CWIP Review and Capitalizations
- Monthly reviews of CWIP balances, asset readiness assessment and capitalisation of assets with detailed breakup with the intent of asset verification and identification at any given point
- Engage with cross function teams and vendors to have detailed breakup of CWIP balances
Advances tracking
- Ensure adherence to authority matrix for disbursal of advance payment to vendors
- Ensure timely adjustments of advances by periodically review all advances and engaging in discussions with vendors and engineering team for timely invoice booking

Your Experience and qualifications
- Chartered Accountant with 1-2 yrs experience/ CA Inter/ICWA Inter with 5-7 years of experience or any equivalent experience
- Sound practical knowledge of SAP & MS office applications (Particularly Excel, Word & PPT)
- Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret data
- Good inter-personal skills & ability to connect with people
- High focus on adherence to processes, timeline and delivery of results
